These terms govern your use of CypInfo. They apply both to visitors looking for businesses and to owners who maintain a listing.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use it. If you create an owner account, you confirm that you are at least 18 and that you are entitled to represent the business you are listing.
2. What we provide
CypInfo is a business directory. We present information and make it easier to get in touch; we are not a party to any transaction between you and a listed business.
We do not guarantee the quality, legality, safety or suitability of any business or service shown here, nor that every detail in the directory is accurate or current. Always confirm anything that matters directly with the business before committing.
3. Accounts and listings
- You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details confidential and for everything done through your account.
- Information you submit must be truthful and must relate to a real business you are entitled to represent.
- You may claim an existing listing. We ask for confirmation so that nobody else can take control of your business.
- We may edit, recategorise or decline to publish a listing in order to keep the directory consistent and useful.
4. Content rules
Anything you publish on CypInfo must not:
- be false, misleading or fraudulent;
- infringe anyone else's rights, including copyright and trade marks;
- contain abusive, threatening or unlawful material;
- contain other people's personal data without their consent;
- be unsolicited advertising unrelated to the listed business.
We remove content that breaches the above, without prior notice where necessary.
5. Reviews
Reviews must be based on genuine experience of the business. You may not review your own business, review a competitor, or write a review in exchange for payment.
Reviews are moderated before publication. We do not accept payment to publish, remove or reorder a review — including from owners on a paid plan. A negative review is removed only if it breaches the content rules.
6. Plans and payment
A basic listing is free. Optional paid plans and visibility boosts are described on the Plans page, at the prices shown at the time of purchase.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. Paid plans affect how prominently a listing is shown; they do not buy positive reviews and do not affect a listing's rating.
7. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel your subscription at any time from Plans & Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period: you keep access until then and are not charged again.
As a consumer in the EU you may have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services. If you believe a charge was made in error, write to [email protected] with the date of the charge and we will look into it.
8. Intellectual property
The design, code and original content of the site belong to CypInfo. Content you submit remains yours; you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display, reproduce and promote it as part of running the directory, including to search engines.
Bulk extraction of directory data by automated means is not permitted without prior written permission.
9. Liability
The site is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits, or for loss arising from your dealings with a listed business or from an inaccuracy in listing information.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it, nor affects your rights as a consumer.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate an account or listing where these terms are breached or the service is used unlawfully. You can delete your account at any time; deletion does not affect transactions already completed.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Cyprus, and the courts of Cyprus have jurisdiction. We may amend these terms; the date at the top always shows the most recent update, and continued use constitutes acceptance.
